Reviews
Beautiful, small museum, only 3 lei for students and the staff are very polite.
An all-encompassing experience as the house itself is a piece of art, and also the oldest livable residence in Bucharest. Very clean and intuitively arranged exhibits, ranging from paintings to ancient collectibles, in separate rooms with diverse themes. The collection is indeed small but this helps you enjoy every tiny bit of it as you will never feel overwhelmed. It also has a really pretty garden surrounding it where you can spend a few minutes, while the staff is very welcoming and kind.
The house, garden and collection are beautiful. However, you go there and you have to do research on the side to understand about the building, its history, the collections, which is never a good experience in a museum.
Lovely place, the architecture, the art, the overall vibes as well as the entire neighbourhood worth exploring with cafes and restaurants
The tour is not guided. The place is not well highlighted, you don't have to spend more than 30 mins here. As most of all museums under local administration of Bucharest city hall, you can only pay by cash... no ATM nearby!!! The surrounding place is fantastic, lot of old and nice buildings!
Melik House, one of the oldest private house in Bucharest built in the second half of the 18th century, today is the Pallady Museum with free entrance on first Wednesday of the month. Closed on every Monday and Tuesday. The garden included is also a nice place for relaxation
Historic building. The collection is poorly displayed, and there are no notes or descriptions. The visitors are not told anything about the history of the house, Pallady, or the owners of the collection.
Beautiful old house (more than words can express), with its structure kept as close to original as possible. The house belonged to a famous comerciant in the XVIII century.
It now hosts an exhibition with Th Pallady's paintings and other paintings and art objects from the private collection of Serafina and Gh Răut
